But I would have my Wedding in November Instead of March-

Church Wedding decorations - Pew ends by Chanele Rose team

Last weekend we decorated a Wedding at the Sacred Heart Monestary for Honey & Michel's Wedding.. This has to be by far the most beautiful Church I have seen!

We used Singapore orchids for the Pew ends as her colour scheme was purple a very effective colour against the organza white pew ends, we also added some special touches to their Chairs for the ceremony.

Teardrop Bouquet - Still My favourite

Teardrop bouquets are generally have a lot more detail and take a lot longer to construct- Hence the price difference between this and the Natural stem round Posy bouquets.. A good bouquet should look even and well balanced and be as light as possible to carry!  When determining the size of your Bouquet - should should first consider your body frame and the size of your skirt. A teardrop bouquet generally has a dome shaped top and trails gradually to a point at the bottom..  it is designed in an Oasis foam generally each Flower, bud and Leaf is wired  and glued individually so that it does not fall apart.. which is generally time consuming but the Final result - Very Worthwhile!
The giving of Flowers, Gifts & jewelery is a Customary tradition among many traditions! Vi was kind enough to share with us her Stunning Photos of her Engagement..
Thanks Vi- Your both Make such a Stunning Couple and we wish you all the best for your Future together! We are looking forward to your Upcoming Wedding..

Wedding Flowers

I am not sure if I have mentioned as yet how much we love Weddings!

Yes.. we do and the whole she-bang- L O V E I T !
(favourite word for this week- She Bang)

And I guess you can tell in our work:
We offer Wedding flowers, Bridal bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, Table centrepieces,
Chair covers, Backdrops with fairy lights throughout Sydney, NSW.

Very popular at the Moment are these gorgeous Martini glass Table centrepieces.
The great thing is we can theme your Event with the colours of your choice..
These pink ones in the photos are very pretty we have added Pink and white coloured gel
for the Margarita effect Martini glasses- with the White/ Pink Oriental lillies& Lisianthus flower feature
they are very effective!

A good florist will know that table centrepieces should not block the view of the other guest on
the tables.  You should keep your Flower centrepieces either small and intimate (no taller than 20cm high)
or Tall and spectacular (over 45cms tall) that way all your guest will be able to socialise nicely on the
tables without an obstructed view..

Funeral Tributes

Funerals are a sad time for all!
But somehow the giving of flowers at this time truly shows just how much you care and that you empathase through their time of mourning.

There are many kinds of funeral flower arrangements, Most popular being the wreath.
A wreath is a circular floral arrangement made of various flowers and greenery. It is believed that the funeral wreaths circular shape symbolizes eternal life. Another kind of funeral flower arrangement is the floral stand. The floral stand is a floral arrangement that is put on a stand; its only visible side is the front. A very common floral stand design among Christian's is the cross shaped design or otherwise would be a Casket spray with placed upon the coffin at a wake.

Sending funeral flowers often display to the family members how important and how they are to you  and that you care deeply for the person who has passed on, and are always very much appreciated by the family members!

6am photo shoot!

Sorry I am on my "L's" - new to blogging still trying to work our how to upload the pics!

As I said it was 6am and my son started clicking away with the camera..

I was trying to get these bouquets done and delivered to the
Brides house by 10am and still had a lot to do!

I know it is not the best look but it was quite funny looking back on these pics now!
This was an Oriental lily and Rose Modern Bouquet with Monstera Leaves and Rhubarb Cordalyne.. A bit funky and classy and the smell it absolutely devine!!!!

Happy snappy

Chad, My Son woke up at 6am last weekend from all the racquet!.. Apparently I was caught cursing.. well you would too if you just had a rose thorn cut through your flesh!!! Trying to hold on to a bouquet and unwrap a band-aid wrap and then stick it on my wounded finger.. Yes as I said you would be cursing too!
Anyway once that was all under control he found the digital camera and started snapping away.
Not the best of looks really, but I found the camera later and forgot all about the pictures he had taken and now looking back they just made me laugh!

Table Centrepieces

Think outside of the box!

Table Flowers are wonderful conversation pieces at Weddings.
Martini Glasses filled with an assortment of beautiful fresh flowers, Lime or orange slices of colour to decorate your vases make for a great table centre. Filled with an assortment of  soft flowing flowers or coloured water perhaps!

LED lights using the colours of your choice will bring a touch of magic to your venue. Glasses are brilliant ideas for containers. Seashells, Candles, Semi-Precious Stones, Candelabras, Floating Candles, Votives and Exotic Fruits can also be included with Table Flowers.

Unusual Table Designs are a great way to thank out-of-town guests & bridal party members. Personalised Table pieces are a lovely memory, or take home gift and can be easily personalised by way of a message or name incorporated into the flowers. A small plant- perhaps a Phalenopsis orchid or a  pomander’s
(ball of flowers) or chocolates adorned with flowers are just some of the available options.

The options are endless; however, rest assured that Chanel Rose Floral designs will work magic with the style and flowers you choose for your Wedding.
