Christmas party decorations in Sydney...

We had a ball last weekend pulling together all the bits and pieces for this
Corporate Christmas party..
We took care of  the guest Table centrepieces  also put together a gorgeous little
Candy table with my friend Leony from Macake, here is a little sneak peak of what
we came up with..

We put together some Christmas wreaths with fresh holly, sprayed pine

cones, tiny green fruit peices mixed with  interesting green & red flowers with our

decorated Lanterns of fragrant twisted lime candles - these smell devine!

  We added a xmas themed backdrop our gorgeous branch with embelishments the lollies, candy
Candy canes, and ofcourse the swirly pops withe added touch of mackes' Macaroons and Chocolate dipped strawberries and little Christmas touches with fresh holly and red pearls was a huge hit with all the guests!!

My favourite by far were the Pistachio Macaroons oh and the red velvet cupcakes
and the strawberry dipped chocolates, oh and the frosted biscuits... Oh I just can't decide!!!
They were all tooooooo Yummy..

Pretty rose bouquets

For Nicole & Albert's Wedding, Nicole opted for tight white Atiko roses
and for her Bridesmaids we mixed pacific blue roses with cool water (purple) roses
with the whites as her Bridesmaids were wearing Purple dresses..
I also loved the little Basket we created for her little flower girl which included a few
of the purple Singapore orchids..

Nicole's Wedding was to be held at the Blue mountains ans she had concerns
that the flowers will not last and may fade due to the hot Summer weather
and also the long driving distances..

So we suggested we construct the bouquets for her in a Bridie (which is based in the wet foam)
so that the flowers will have water to drink throughout the day..
The Posy basket was also constructed the same way to hold the distance.


- so the Boys should not have to miss out on all the fun we also made them all
matching boutonnieres - here is a pic of a few:

As most Churches and outdoor Ceremony locations these days don't permit you to throw
rose petals- A Flower girl rose petal basket is not always the best choice-
instead we created a little posy arrangement in the Flower girl basket with roses and a few orchids..

Gorgeous day for a White Wedding....

When we first met with Abeda to discuss her Wedding flowers I was taken by her
inspirations for her Wedding!..  Pure purity, I just loved what we came up with for this
Wedding..

- The Bridal bouquet consisted of white lisianthus with vendella roses, Berzelia & green/purple Singapore orchids..

We put together 39 of these Table centrepieces - with hydrangeas, Arum Lily's, roses & chrysanthemums
with tall lush greenery... Very White Wedding!! The Chair covers were also matched with a soft Ivory
organza sash to compliment to neutral of this Wedding

I was in love with these Bridal table arrangements.. It had a Vintage feel with the added
Candles & candle holders..

Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling Business Acheiver Awards Winners 2010- FLORIST

We attended the Fairfield Advance- Business Acheiver Awards Dinner Last night,
It was an awesome night indeed!!

It was quite humbling to have been nominated by our clients for this award - just to have
the nominations for me was quite an acheivement in itself..
So ofcourse I dragged along my awesome team along for the night out and
a bit of fun.  We had absolutely no idea what was to eventuate from all this, but was happy to
go along for the ride nonetheless..

I must it was a little nail biting.. leading up to our catergory of Florists..
Drumroll and the Winner is : Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling
Can't quite remember what happened next, everything was a bit of a blur,
I could have fainted then and there, can't even remember what I said in the speech accepting the
award, trying to hold back tears & nerves and contain myself all at the same time..   BLUR!

Peony Wedding flowers & bouquets in Champagne/ chocolate

We were thrilled to take part in Aisha & Nathan's Wedding last weekend..
Such a gorgeous couple, we put together these stunning fresh flower bouquets
and church decorations at the Stunning All Saints Church at Liverpool
and later for the Wedding Reception held at the Skyview Reception lounge at Liverpool..


The brides' bouquet included a stunning mix of gorgeous White Peony, Chocolate toned Calla Lilys
Sahara roses with Chateau roses & champagne pearl decorative wiring for some added detail..
Finished off with the champagne skirting and pearl pins..

We made the Flower girl a matching heart shaped wand with 'the pearl embellishments..




The Bridesmaids dressed were a Chocolate and champagne colour
which we matched with these Peony and champagne Vendella rose bouquets with geralton wax berries and peony buds..

 Each Pew end at the All Saints Liverpool was adorded with a champagne organga bow and chocolate satin
with Arum Lilys and Vanda orchids to match the theme...

and themed it in with the Bridesmaids colours of chocolate and champagne

We created a stunning White xmas themed backdrop with all the trimmings:

Fuschia Wedding bouquets with some interest..

Gone are the days of standard boring buttonholes -

I love to have a little fun with these personalised flowers and make them unique and memorable!!

I thought I’d share a few photos of different ways to dress up a boutonnieres to show

how it is possible to match your wedding decor.  

A contrasting embelishment with the turquoise beads agains the fuschia pink rose

and vanda orchids with the black hues of the wrapped stems were used to match

a Black Bridesmaid dress created by Teeki.

Sweet at sugar, this chocolate Late flower combination has to be my favourite thus far!!!
Again designed for a specific Teeki dress- we wanted to create a Vintage look..

It gets people coming up closer for a better look and wondering ...
what is that in your flowers???  Something that will leave a lasting impression!

This bouquet included David Austen "Dew" roses, celosia, crysanthemums, calla lilys,
chateau roses and cymbidium with a few fern snail features..

Of late I have been passionately inspired in creating some pretty interesting combinations
which I love, nothing traditional about this one!!!

Vintage inspired Wedding bouquets & flowers

Last Sunday we Collaborated with an Amazing team which included the gorgeous
Amy Oram of Teeki and Bailie photography with Clarissa Lum and Candice Lee- hair stylists
& make up artist Katy Moore for a Photo shoot.  After months of planning and preparations
we found the perfect team to put this shoot together..

The best part about doing a Photo shoot like this is that I can be as creative and adventurous as
I like and also think out of the "Traditional Wedding" box so to speak..
I love that!!

 So I had total freedom to do whatever I wanted
ofcourse I had to match a particular dress but I had totally
free reign on the flower, colour & combination choice...

This week I attended another Hope FM Corporate function
at the very picturesque North ryde Golf club in Sydney..

We had the pleasure of meeting some very fabulous people!!
And not to mention was entertained by an awesome live band
 the David Andrew Trio - must check them out...

We created these stunning centrepieces to theme in with the HOPE FM's current
branding logo- which is the predominentatly White & slight yellow/orange with a touch of purple tones
It was a gorgeous setting to a beautiful day complimenting the stunning natural background
of the golf club!

Bright bridal bouquets

We LOVED Vicki's Wedding flowers....

Such a bright combination which included orange calla lilys, Leucodendren, orange roses,
hypericum berries a the lime mallucca balm.  Against a White/Ivory dress the flowers
are sure to stand out!! Against a black bridesmaids dress will also stand out...
may not suit every bride but we love to cater to every individual's needs!!

which softened the final look...
