Blinging Red & White Wedding- Doltone House Pyrmont

Last weekend we pumped out two very different Weddings at the
Gorgeous Doltone house Pyrmont..

It was very exciting, and also very exhausting all at the same time,
always on a high when putting it all together and don't quite feel the
exhaustion until it's all over when we need to catch up on some beauty sleep! 
Our team lived on two hours of sleep each day leading up to the Weddings!
And would not have it any other way... The lack of sleep just comes with the
territory of dealing with fresh flowers I suppose!

We used White Oriental Lilies, Red roses, Lime green foliage & orchids with
Crystal drops on each candelabra for a bit of extra bling..


And the bridal table was adorned with a stunning Long & low display and vases
of aligned red roses and red votive candles with Crystal scatters
& white butterflies - Brides' favorite!!

The Bridal bouquet was a matching White lily & red roses embellishments of
white Butterflies, Crystals  & orchids with berzillea berries & dodder vine

Each 7 of Lisa's Bridesmaids held a rose posy bouquet with Ivory & Red roses,
lime berries &  foliage with Dodder vine

 The Wedding Ceremony took place at the Stunning St Mary's Parish at Concord -
we put together some simple but effective pew ends with white organza bows,
with white lily, red rose with white Singapore orchids on each alternate pew..

Rich red Wedding flowers..

We are very excited to share these pics of Vanessa & Brads' Wedding flowers with you
that we put together for their gorgeous Wedding last weekend!!


It was a little difficult to get these Calla lilies as they were not quite in season yet!!
So we had them imported from South Africa especially for Vanessa -
Yes we went to that extra mile but it was well worth the effort. the end look result
was by far the most gorgeous combination with red roses ever.. LOVED IT!!
And of course to make the Bride happy is soooo very rewarding..

We combined Velvet Red roses, Aubergine Calla lilies, hypericum berries & dodder vine
with a red satin stem wrapped with red pearls & decorative wiring..

 - And for the Bride- we created this stunning teardrop consisted of stunning Fresh
Red roses, hypericum berries, calla lilies Dodder vine & Ivy..

The Ceremony & Reception were both held at the stunning Mandalay  Lane Cove
which we were also honored to have set up the chair covers & decorations.. 

It rained that morning but luckily the sun came out just in time for a gorgeous setting at the
Mandalay the theme was an Ivory/ soft champagne and black- which accented the flowers greatly!!
The chair covers included a champagne organza sash with a silk black rose & our gorgeous
chair cover beading was a huge hit!

Feathers, Pearls & bits of Bling.....

Last Weekend was by far the most anticipated Wedding of the 
lovely Deborah & Michael!   Been waiting for this one for a while now
and finally here you are..

Gotta love Spring Weddings!!!   They are always Vibrant & full of life 
- Well that's what we thought- right? well no- unfortunately the weather last 
week end was not the best- so hopefully the Indoor reception made up for that!

Anticipated - because we have always wanted to combine feathers, pearls, 
crystals with gorgeous floral combination of Roses, Runnunculus and Singapore orchids..

We loved these amazing centrepieces & matching chair cover decorations 
for Deb and Mikes' Wedding reception at the Stunning Sydney boutique hotel- 
The Amora Jamison.

We used pearls in the large Martini vases with crystal drops and

the floral feature included stunning fresh Red roses, Runnunculus , Freesia 

and Singapore orchids- topped with black Ostrich feather plumes..

The draped chair covers with contrasting Red and purple sashes 
& the added beading to the back of the chairs added the 
final touches to co-ordinate the themed colours..
So happy with the outcome - has to be the most dazzling decorations we 
have created thus far!!

also very happy with the Grand final.. Fantastic game between the Dragons
& the Roosters...St George winning the premiership smashing the Roosters
on Sunday night was a great day all round!

Such a Beautiful Day in Sydney today for a Wedding..

Was a good day in history today...

Most importantly - Hubby is happy- The St George Dragons' made it to the Grand finals,
This will be their first finals since .. the 70's so this is definitely a day to be celebrated..
Year after year they have choked after making it to the top eight, but this year they are in
with a very good chance.. Good luck for next week Dragons!!!  For my hubby's sake
we would love you to win the title!!

A very last minute booking we took care of  Ann's Wedding flowers
having booked only one week before the Wedding date, Ann's friend promised
to arrange her bouquets only to have extended her overseas travels and left Ann
literally last minute to arrange her flowers elsewhere...
I am always a little weary of anything that comes for free-
It may seem great at first but there are always not the best idea
especially when it comes to something as important as your Wedding day!!

Luckily for Ann- she came to the right place we happily looked after her..

Zilver Chinese Restuarant Haymarket - Sydney Wedding decorations

The fun part about our Job is we get to decorate new & exciting Venues each week!!
I love how each Venue is unique and how the decorations can totally transform each space
into a totally different look..

We gave Zilver Chinese Restaurant - in Haymarket Sydney
( Famous for it's Yum Cha & seafood dishes ) a huge makeover last weekend when
we decorated for an Intimate Wedding..

A Parisian Affair.. Paris themed corporate function in Sydney

Over 15 years ago now, well before kids, marriage etc..
I managed to fit in a trip to Europe, although it was brief having done
an Insight tour - we only managed to see Paris for a few short days..
Actually every European city was quite rushed and hectic!!
Must get back there soon.. It's on the "To Do" list.. along with many other "To Do" things...

I have always been inspired by Paris and the magic of this gorgeous City
so when this opportunity presented itself, I must admit I jumped at the chance!!

Well this is certainly something I have always wanted to do..
A Paris French  themed function - Yes, well if I can't be there in person
at least  I can try to create it.. right??

We looked everywhere to source theme Eiffel towers - we wound them with
Fairy lights & pearls to create a very Eiffel look and ofcourse had to add the feathers,
crystal chandeliers- red beads spray vase and yummy candy..

The Candy bar buffet table was the main focal point with the bar right along side,
I hope all the sweets get eaten otherwise......mmmm....

Purple is so IN right now..

I have lost count of the number of requests for Purple Bridal bouquets..

Helen- (Bride) was referred to me from a previous client and also
from good friends Sister..

Helen was after Peony's but unfortunately they were not quite in season yet..
We suggested for an early September Wedding the closest possible flower option
is Rannunculus - Yes I know not many people know what they are or have had
the pleasure of seeing them before!!
They come in many Stunning colours most commonly White &  Burgundy & Mauve are
the most amazing!!!
