The Wedding venue based at the Paradiso Reception lounge at Fairfield, NSW.

Photos are not the best but we added a bit of bling - with our chocolate berry beading to the table centrepiece - otherwise quite dull with the fake branches..

and a bit of extra detailing with the perfumed rose petals..

There's something about Autumn - Wedding flowers

It's not only Spring that produces great Flowers, not in the least.

There is something about Autumn, somehow words can't describe..

The falling of the leaves, the colours and textures are just so romantic and special.

The rich orange tones, reds, browns and yellows drive me nuts!

 I came across this beautiful poem which I feel describes the mood of Autumn perfectly

Written by Wang Wei (Chinese) translated by Edward Chang :

After the rain, the empty mountain at dusk is full of autumn air.
A bright moon shines between the pines;
The clear spring water glides over the rocks.
Bamboo leaves rustling —
the washer-girls bound home.
Water lilies swaying —
a fisher-boat goes down.
Never mind that spring plants are no longer green.
They are saying I am here to stay my noble friends!

Cultural Bridal bouquet Inspirations @ Royal Easter show Sydney 2010

This Week we visted the Sydney Easter show - not only for the show bags & rides!

We attended the Flower & Garden hall to view the latest creations of the tafe students work
of Cultural Bridal bouquets.

These students were given a photo of a Cultural costume in which they had to design a Bouquet to match..
We were quite impressed by some of the weird, wacky & ever so WONDERFUL creations that they came up with!!

Well ok it was not all work!  Managed to find some time for some of the rides..

Frangipani Wedding bouquets for Bridal

Frangipanis (better known as Plumeria- Botanical name) are native to Laos (Near Thailand)
Over the past two decades have become increasing popular in Australia & many other tropical countries.

Fresh Frangipanis' are not Ideally the best flowers to use in Bridal bouquets as they do not tend to last out of water for too long. Quickly the edges form a shade of brown and they excrete a milky sap once cut from their plant.

However to achieve a very real look we used fresh Frangipani & gardenia leaves with the premium quality latex Frangipanis'.  We also added a touch of Frangipani oils to them so that they even smell life-like!

Dinner Party decorations - Black & White event

Dianna asked me to do some decorations for her for a small Dinner Party/  40th party for her Hubby
Simon.. It was pretty cool as she had no idea what she wanted so I had free reign to do anything I wanted!

It was not a hard decision really as the flower to best describe Dianna and Simon is SUNFLOWER..

I came up with a Black & White theme, using a variety of Lanterns - Paper shade lantern balls


and Bird cage Table centrepiece Lantern decorated with sunflowers, Pastel dendrobium orchids & Frangipanis..

Phalaenopsis orchids & Roses Wedding/ Bridal bouquet flowers

Last weekend we had the pleasure of putting together some bouquets for the
beautiful Anna and Nahn's Pre Wedding photo shoot..

We used columbian two tone pink roses,
Phalaenopsis orchids, Lisianthus buds and Gum leaves..


The phalaenopsis orchids in this pink throat tone was quite hard to source at this time of the year.. But when don't like to dissapoint a Bride..we did go to extra lengths to source these, actually got the last batch for this season (Very happy!)

Yesterday we received this lovely message Anna- which made the stress, running around and hard work so rewarding- Thanks Anna- You made my day too!

Royal Randwick racecourse Wedding & Decorations

Last weekend we were very lucky to have worked with Event planner, Manager & Producer
- Roey of Newington group for a Jewish Wedding.  Must say that using an Event planner for a
Wedding is by far the best decision a bride could make, It eliminates any stress (bridezilla moments)
and of course would make your Wedding run like clockwork! 

Newington group were so well organised and did not miss a beat when planning the Wedding for Shani & Noam last weekend.  Every detail was taken care of the Cars, cake, Reception venue, catering, Chuppah canopy, decorations, flowers and so so so much more!!

I have attached a few pics of the Flowers, chair covers, Table centrepieces & Chuppah ( Huppa) set up

The ugly brown lounges we jazzed up with some gorgeous White faux fur throws
and satin lime green cushions, the tables were arranged with Martini vases, Monstera  leaves, singapore orchids, crissies, Lime gladiolus & purple Dendrobium orchids with  with a lime green base was very effective!



We also used a lime green table runner on a white table cloth with votive candles & orchids & Anthurium scattered for a Zesty, classy look!The Table centrepieces were round fishbowls with specially made Lemongrass candles
(Thanks Sharon!) with a wreath of White lillies, Singapore orchids, Privet berries & Dendrobium orchids..

Tall pilsner vase filled with Limes & matching lime, and purple floral feature displays for head Bridal table..

The White draped chair covers with lime green organza sashes and dark purple berry beading was a great finishing touch and the colours worked so well together..

The bridal table feature Long and low included white lilies, Lotus pods, Celosia, Tuber roses & Pearl beading

The two tier cake with cake topper in white & green flowers lillies, dendrobium orchids, amarillis, and

The stunning bride looked like Cinderella at the ball with our White & lime green teardrop bouquet

This Outdoor Wedding ceremony at Randwick racecourse was So Amazing
with the lighting added to the Chuppah!
